Collaborative Health

It is fascinating how intricately the body and mind work together.  However, it becomes incredibly challenging when it feels like they are teaming up against you.

Michelle began partnering with physicians in 2019 as a collaborative approach to chronic illness.  This provided patients the benefit of having numerous perspectives weighing in on the presenting concerns and treatment.

For example, it is quite common for an auto-immune disease to be inflamed by stress.  When a patient is able to have their doctor, who is addressing the physical roots and symptoms, communicate with their therapist, who is addressing the stored stress in their body, the patient enjoys the benefits of a more robust treatment experience.

Since 2019, Michelle has partnered with Functional Medicine Providers, Gynecologists & Hormone Specialists, Acupuncturists & Chiropractors, Pelvic Floor Therapists, and Psychiatrists.  She is open to collaborating care with any alternative or western medicine provider a patient is working with.
