Hello and welcome!
Born in Indiana, and married in Maryland, I then traveled the world for 20 years as a career Air Force wife. Once we settled in Florida, and our three kiddos were in school, I was the education director for a crisis pregnancy center for 12 years, educating teens on how to form healthy relationships, set long-term goals, guard against media influence, and develop personal character so they could succeed in college and the job market, and construct stable marriages.
I was then a caretaker for my aging parents for 12 years. With a degree in Human Resources from Barry University, I have learned and seen firsthand that, in every phase of life, there are difficulties that feel overwhelming.
I have received counseling myself twice in life – once for post-partum depression, and then marriage counseling 30 years later. I know the value of finding help when struggling with an issue that feels unresolvable. In times like that, it is important to remember we are not alone.
I’m honored to be part of the support team at Comfort Creations and look forward to assisting you in finding your best path to peace.
